RS6: the Galaxy

December 16 1964 Radio London came on air, broadcasting from the ex American mine sweeper Galaxy. To the day 48 years later Radioships.com introduces RS6: the Galaxy!

The Galaxy looked very different from the other radioships due to its military appearance.

RS6 is again build on the 1:400 scale.

This is how the clay model started on august 27 2012:

On october 3 I received the first miniature from the faundry. Here it is, besides the original clay model:
